Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on facility equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
- Fabricate and install various components and fixtures as needed
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for larger repair or renovation projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and provide timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
- Strong technical skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve facility issues
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise contractors and coordinate projects
- Customer service-oriented mindset to address facility-related concerns of employees or visitors
