Trailways of New York is Hiring Coach Bus Drivers in Kingston

When getting there matters, our modern well-equipped motor coaches carry passengers throughout New York State, and into Montreal, Toronto and Detroit, Michigan.

We have immediate employment opportunities for full-time, part-time and seasonal Coach Bus Drivers based out of the Kingston, New York area. This operator will report to the Kingston Maintenance Facility on a daily basis.

The preferred candidate is a self-starter who manages their time safely and effectively with little supervision, and has:

One or more years of experience operating a commercial vehicle, preferably a coach bus or school bus.

A valid class B or A commercial driver's license.

An unrestricted Passenger endorsement (ability to transport 15 passengers or more) Operators with a valid class A or B license without a Passenger endorsement may have an opportunity to obtain one as part of the 5-week training program.

A valid passport or enhanced driver's license for travel to Canada.

Availability to work a 5-or 6-day workweek including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and D.O.T. physical.

A driving record that meets insurance standards.

Strong customer service skills.

A love of operating a motor coach and the willingness to travel.

Your benefits:

First year average earnings $48,000.00-$53,000.

A generous $5000 Sign-On bonus-($500 of which is for initial uniform allowance)
