Control System Engineer

Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Control System Engineer with experience in instrumentation and control systems for client support on a contract basis.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.

2-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems engineering.

Experience with Bluebeam software.

Knowledge of standards that apply to instrumentation and controls.

Proficient in the use of vendor software for sizing control valves.

Preferred Skills:

PLC/DCS programming experience (not mandatory).

Responsibilities:

Produce installation details, electric room layouts, cable schedules, control panel layouts, loop diagrams, and instrumentation plans.

Develop control narratives and specify process instrumentation.

Create specifications and data sheets for instrumentation, analyzers, control systems, and actuated valves.

Review vendor submittals for instrumentation and controls input.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project information is communicated effectively for timely project completion.

Assemble scopes, drawings, and specifications into procurement packages for equipment and materials.

Contribute to the development of P&IDs with respect to instrumentation and control.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $59.00 per hour
