Job Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Database Developer in Rochester, New York. This role focuses on managing a team for data-driven analysis and metric reporting. The successful candidate will be involved in various tasks including data collection, reporting development, and analytics execution pertaining to the consumer electronics industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team to conduct data-driven analysis and metric reporting.

• Oversee data collection processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Develop thorough and precise reporting systems for various business needs.

• Execute analytics strategies to derive insights from collected data.

• Utilize skills in Business Intelligence (BI) to enhance reporting and analytics.

• Ensure fluency in English and Spanish to cater to diverse client base.

• Travel as required to meet project needs and client requirements.

• Utilize Microsoft SQL and other related platforms for database management.

• Apply knowledge in computer sciences to optimize data collection and reporting.

• Stay updated with technical certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), MCSE, NET+ to ensure quality of work.• Demonstrable experience as a Database Developer or similar role

• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)

• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications

• Hands on experience with SQL

• Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and Oracle

• Excellent analytical and organization skills

• An ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish

• Proficiency in using Microsoft SQL and other related software

• Possession of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and MS Dynamics CRM certifications

• Familiarity with Consumer Electronics and business specifications

• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence (BI)

• Proficiency in Computer Sciences and Data Collection

• Experience with Assertion Markup Language

• Ability to provide clear explanations for technical concepts

• Willingness to travel as required by the job

• Knowledge and understanding of Financial Notes and Metric Reporting

• Relevant technical certifications such as MCSE and NET+ are desirable

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
