Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing manager is responsible for the vendor term negotiations, prices, and schedules delivery using knowledge of budget and schedule requirements. Must have strong mechanical and technical negotiation skills.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Minimum of 2-4 years of Purchasing related experience or demonstrated knowledge.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes in a machine shop environment.

Knowledge of Metal-mechanic manufacturing processes.

Technical drawing reading skills.

Technical capacity and the ability to provide technical guidance.

Initiative and results-driven.
