Role Summary:

The SailPoint Solutions Engineer is responsible for being the technical lead engineer reporting to the ProofID Program/Project Managers within the projects won by ProofID. General activities are installation, integration and deployment or enhancements/maintenance of SailPoint IdentityNow software projects for clients and partners. This is a client facing role where you could be the primary technical resource on the front line responsible for turning this SailPoint client Identity requirement into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

integration, and deployment of the IdentityNow product in client environment.

with client post implementation on user testing, debugging, support and environment maintenance.

to client and partner aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level appropriate for the situation.

with Project Manager/Program Manager on scope, schedule, status, and documentation.

and delivering technical training to other ProofID consultants assigned to the engagement.

Key Competencies:

The ideal candidate has experience with many of the technologies below:

years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company or systems integrator. This should include 3+ years of enterprise software implementation experience as a developer/engineer.

in software development, implementation, and configuration, namely,,SailPoint IdentityNow products.

communication skills and experience collaborating with clients.

with some of the following:

SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML.

and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms.

(Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL)

(LDAP, AD).

systems (SAP, PeopleSoft) a plus.

JS, Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL.

with IAM space with identity management provisioning systems including Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell a plus.

with RBAC and Provisioning a plus.

Preferred:

with working with Program/Project Management to assist in (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation)

with QA duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans).

software or internal IT audit experience

Location details:

The consultant should be based in the USA.

This is a remote position, some travel (5-10%) may be necessary.

Education/Certifications:

IdentityNow Certified Professional and/or Engineer is required.

Science, Engineering degree, or 6-10 years equivalent experience

certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus.
