JOB SUMMARY

Scrum master is responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Guide, coach and motivate the team and organization with the goal of increasing productivity via Agile/Scrum practices.

Organize, lead and encourage participation in all scrum ceremonies (Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review & Demo, Retrospective).

Lead collaborative discussion, decision making and problem solving.

Manage the team to develop, capture and analyze metrics to facilitate team improvements.

Partner with Product Owners to support product backlog definition, refinement, and 3-sprint readiness.

Prepare and present reports on the progress and success.

Proactively eliminate barriers, coach team members on best practices and facilitate scrum ceremonies.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

5 years of experience as a ScrumMaster for a software development team using agile/scrum.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO).

5 years of experience with agile practices, patterns and techniques.
