HR Generalist - Operations - Permanent position in Alpharetta, GA

Hybrid - 3 days onsite (T,W,TH) 2 days remote (M,F)

Salary Range: Up to $64K + 401K and contributions to Savings / Retirement Plans

This role focuses on Human Resources Operations to support our organization's overarching mission through talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, and HR compliance and best practices.

The Human Resources Generalist is a key contributor to the daily functions of the Human Resources Operations Team, with a primary focus on assisting with the talent acquisition strategy. This role is instrumental in promoting ideas and strategies that elevate the employer brand, enhancing candidate experience, and embodying our culture and values. The position facilitates the entire team member lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, ensuring compliance and excellence in HR practices.

KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Missionaries Endorsement

• Serve as the primary contact for Regional Directors, addressing region specific needs.

• Monitor missionaries in the assigned region to ensure progress through the endorsement process.

• Prioritize tickets from the assigned region, ensuring compliance with system SLAs.

Talent Acquisition

• Support the talent acquisition strategy by participating in activities tied to the team member lifecycle (Recruitment, Onboarding, Transfers, Terminations/Offboarding).

• Conduct pre-employment screenings, reviewing completed references and background checks, and notify any inconsistencies.

• Assist in the recruiting, transfer, and onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure a consistent and efficient candidate experience.

• Write and edit job descriptions, manage job postings across platforms including NAMB careers and LinkedIn, and maintain the New Hire Dashboard.

University Relations and Internship Program Management

• Forge and maintain strong relationships with universities and technical schools to establish a pipeline for future talent.

• Attend career events and showcase opportunities at NAMB to attract top students and graduates.

• Oversee the company’s internship program, ensuring a valuable and engaging experience for interns that aligns with company goals and culture.

• Coordinate with various departments to develop and implement structured internship projects and roles.

• Monitor and evaluate the success of the internship program and its alignment with the talent acquisition strategy, making adjustments as necessary to meet organizational needs.

• Serve as a liaison between the company and educational institutions, ensuring mutual benefits and strong partnerships.

HR Compliance and Best Practices

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and regional regulations including Federal I-9 and E-Verify, Affirmative Action, EEOC, FLSA, and AAP/OFCCP guidelines.

• Keep abreast of recruiting trends, HR best practices, and laws/regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related area, with a focus on talent acquisition and HR operations.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS

• Proficiency in Workday and familiarity with HRIS systems.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

OPTIONAL

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.
