Position: Land Acquisition Manager

Location: Jacksonville, Florida

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Land Acquisition Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Land Acquisition Manager, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and acquiring land opportunities for our real estate and homebuilding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess feasibility for development projects

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify areas with potential growth and demand

- Negotiate and secure land acquisitions, including purchase contracts, options, and leases

- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including municipalities, landowners, and consultants

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes impacting land acquisitions

- Analyze financial viability and risks associated with land acquisitions

- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in land acquisition within a production homebuilding company - Strong understanding of the residential real estate market, zoning regulations, and entitlement process

- Proven track record in successfully negotiating land acquisitions and closing deals

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficient in utilizing market research tools and databases

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders

- Effective communication and presentation skills
