JOB SUMMARY

This position will implement growth strategies for key airline and MRO accounts, establish and grow customer relationships, travel to drive sales activity & coordinate leads with internal sales teams against established targets and objectives. **Will consider an Account Manager role for less experienced applicants**

Essential Responsibilities

on annual sales targets by implementing growth strategy in assigned region(s) for the company’s core competencies, which includes Daily Sales, Daily Purchasing, Large Program Sales, Large Purchases, Support Programs and Repair Management.

directly with customers to generate revenue and acquisition opportunities, develop relationships and/or execute marketing plans to meet/exceed established sales goals & targets by increasing existing customer penetration and/or opening new customer accounts.

new markets and customers.

and enact brokering opportunities to achieve annual, zero-stock sales targets.

periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

knowledge and expertise on reporting and import tools to increase speed of execution to coach or execute across the sales organization.

and coach a direct report, Sales Associate, to execute daily commercial operations within key account portfolio.

customers’ business decision-making process.

AOG (on-call) support as needed.

travel expectation minimum 30%.

quarterly travel plan, visit customers identified within the plan and complete trip reports detailing meeting minutes and general discussions.

relevant industry trade show events as required throughout the year.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 4 years of experience in the aviation industry OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience in the aviation industry; Experience working with MS Office, preferably MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel; Experience conducting presentations and facilitating business objectives. Ability to work the after-hours/on call program (AOG).
