Windows Software System Administrator

6-month contract to hire

Must live in or near Harrisburg, PA.

Onsite every Monday rest if WFH.

Overview:

Windows server support opportunity (95% Windows server).

No database administration or API development is involved; senior developers handle API writing.

Developers write APIs in C#, and publish on GitHub; troubleshooting APIs is a part of the role.

Hybrid work model with Mondays in-office; new employees/training on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Day-to-day support, installation, and vendor relations for large enterprise applications.

The majority of applications run on Windows servers, and understanding of Windows applications.

Current Enterprise Apps:Finscan: Scanning financial issues with some customers.

Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo.

JRC Apps: Governance Risk and Compliance.

Credit Apps

Saleslogics: External CRM system.

Lotus Notes Application (goal is to Transition off Lotus Notes by June)

Required: Bachelor's in Software Development, Management Information Systems, or IT.

1-2 years of experience (preferably in the private sector or another agency)

Background in Windows server administration.

Scripting experience (VBS scripting or legacy Windows server scripting like powershell, etc)

SQL scripting proficiency. (should be able to throw together a SQL statement that could query the database)

Ability to lead large-scale projects.

Preferred: Experience supporting enterprise applications.

Familiarity with Aresam and Inscan.

Main Responsibilities:

Day-to-day support, installation, and vendor relations for large enterprise applications.
