Principal Embedded Software Engineer

Are you interested in playing an integral role in the development of a brand new, software vehicle architecture which will be used by some of the world's leading automakers to advance the development & deployment of software-defined vehicles?

Do you have 5+ years of experience developing highly-reliable, automotive-grade, safety-critical embedded software?

Familiarity with automotive Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS, Automotive-grade Linux, QNX, VxWorks etc.)

Metric Search have partnered with a Bay Area unicorn scale-up that is a pivotal software supplier to the automotive domain, focusing on supporting the development & deployment of software defined vehicles (electrification, autonomy, connectivity).

In collaboration with a long-term OEM partner they are developing a next-generation vehicle software platform that will enable the exponential acceleration of SW development & ultimately support the deployment of new, next-generation software-defined vehicles.

This will be a senior individual contributor role (up to Principal level), with an expectation to be on-site 5 days per week.
