Position: Electrical Design Verification Tester

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: Multi-year contract, looking for candidates who want to stay long term

Qualifications

BSEE/CE or MSEE/CE with 0-1 years of experience or internship

Good working knowledge of Networking technologies

Hands-on experience with configuration and testing of switching, and routing platforms

Plusses

Tcl/Expect/Python scripting knowledge is a plus

Hands-on test troubleshooting and fault isolation/debug skills

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities

Good understanding of system level hardware - CPU, power, clocking, bus architectures (PCIE, USB, I2C), etc

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Design Verification Tester to join their client in San Jose, CA to work onsite. The EDVT will be responsible for partnering with Engineers to verification testing. Some other responsibilities may include:

Test product's compliance to internal specs as well as industry standards

Document test status & test reports

Help root cause field issues & support customer escalations
