Assist and Support Senior Trust Officers in the daily performance of duties and servicing of client relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients (e.g. account owners, trust beneficiaries and portfolio managers) on a daily basis. Responds to their requests and works with them to resolve issues and meet their needs
Prepare and process cash contributions and distributions upon receipt of appropriate documentation
Facilitate stock transfers for gifting
Filing, copying, scanning and faxing
Utilize the UNITY platform for administrative services, account maintenance, and the creation of administrative reports
Process IRA and ERISA distributions.
Work with Senior Trust Officer to monitor cash positions in accounts on a daily basis and resolve any overdrafts
Maintaining administrative account files electronically through CRM
Organization of documents and correspondence
Complete special projects as requested
Support the Senior Trust Officers in all other aspects of trust administration
Other duties as assigned
Selection Criteria
1-2 years of experience in client services
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Highly effective written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail, strong organization skills, with the ability to maintain legal documents
General knowledge of investment products
Problem solving skills
Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner
Proficiency and experience using MS Word, Excel
UNITY and FIS Accounting system experience preferred, but not required
