Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

Client Accounting Services: Manage a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Advisory Services: Offer strategic financial advice and guidance to clients, leveraging insights from financial analysis to support decision-making and drive business growth.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting processes, implementing best practices and technology solutions to optimize client service delivery.

Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior staff members, providing training, guidance, and support to foster their professional development and ensure high-quality work.

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for their accounting and financial needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with a focus on serving clients in various industries.

Expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP), as well as tax laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
