Overview: As a Workday Functional Analyst specializing in Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules, you will be instrumental in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing these critical components of the Workday platform. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will ensure the seamless integration of these modules with our organization's processes, enabling accurate payroll processing, efficient time tracking, and effective absence management.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with HR, payroll, and finance stakeholders to understand their requirements for payroll processing, time tracking, and absence management. Translate business needs into system configurations and enhancements.

Configuration and Customization: Utilize your expertise in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules to configure and customize the system according to business requirements. Implement payroll calculations, time entry methods, absence policies, and accrual rules to support organizational policies and compliance.

Integration Management: Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations between Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and other relevant systems (e.g., HRIS, time clocks). Ensure data integrity and accuracy across integrated systems.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system configurations, integrations, and customizations. Conduct end-to-end testing of payroll processes, time entry workflows, and absence scenarios to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on payroll processing, time tracking procedures, and absence management policies. Create user documentation and conduct training sessions to promote understanding and adoption of Workday functionalities.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about Workday updates, enhancements, and best practices related to Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance system capabilities, and improve user experience.

Skills Required:

Workday Payroll: Strong proficiency in configuring and maintaining Workday Payroll module, including payroll calculations, tax configurations, payroll reports, and payroll accounting.

Time Tracking: Experience in configuring Workday Time Tracking module to support time entry methods, time-off requests, timesheet approvals, and time tracking policies.

Absence Management: Expertise in configuring Workday Absence Management module to manage absence types, accruals, entitlements, and absence tracking workflows.

Highly Desired Skills:

Integration Management: Experience in designing and implementing integrations between Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules and other relevant systems.

Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and absence regulations in relevant jurisdictions.

Reporting and Analytics: Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards within Workday to analyze payroll data, time tracking trends, and absence patterns.

Additional Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Workday certification(s) in Payroll, Time Tracking, or Absence Management preferred.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
