Akkodis is seeking a PEGA software engineer to work hybrid in Dearborn, MI with a Fortune 500 company.

This is a long-term role with available benefits and for those who may require it, full sponsorship.

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour.

Please note, we cannot work on C2C basis or any type of third-party contracted candidates.

In this position, you will:

Shape digital strategy by delivering technical solutions.

Leverage extreme programming and the latest cloud technologies in the development of working, tested code based on proven Agile methods.

Leverage software craftsmanship principles and technology standards to solve problems with new and existing solutions.

Write production-quality code to deploy on Enterprise Foundational Platforms.

Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to develop software architecture plans.

Serve as software engineer on the product team and monitor and evaluate solution performance.

Experiment with new and innovative software products to improve performance.

Experience Required:

Highly technical hands-on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying PEGA technology to help solve business problems.

Building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications.

Leading end-to-end delivery of medium to large component of a bigger solution.

Exposure to a variety of technologies including application servers, programming languages, relational and non-relational data bases and integration techniques.

Demonstrated knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.

Experienced in delivering solutions in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Ability to Design and understand full PEGA architecture along with PEGA UI Experience.

Preferred:

Java Experience Experience with Relational databases and concepts – Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.

Exposure to Rules Engines.

Minimum 3+ years of experience developing PEGA solutions.

Required:

Working on a Balanced Team and collaborate with Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Designer to deliver projects; Carrying out development using PEGA Tools to support end-to-end feature delivery.

Defining, designing, developing, and deploying applications/services and proof-of-concepts to support Guest Experience Platform growing technical capabilities/expertise and providing guidance and mentorship to other team members.

Establishing best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk; ensuring quality, on-time delivery using Agile, test driven development principles; leveraging and applying UI/UX design principles.

Individual should be highly technical hands-on individual who is passionate about exploring and applying PEGA technology to help solve business problems.

Preferred:

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner and collaborate.

Willingness to go the extra mile.

Dedication to achieving outstanding customer results with a team-oriented drive and a demonstrated ability to lead by example.

Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; ability to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders.

Capacity to work in teams as well as alone, capacity to lead a technical team, ability to match technology solutions to customer needs.
