As a System Engineer you will be responsible for:

Interface with the customers during project/ program initiation to architect subsystems and components

Lead subsystem and component level requirement management processes and tools across multidiscipline engineering teams

Lead requirement decomposition for both electrical and mechanical subsystems with subsystem project engineers

Allocate technical budgets among subsystems

Define and manage system and subsystem interface control documents and requirements

Review risk assessment and requirement prioritization

Lead project risk management including SHA, FMEA, FMECA

Ensure complete project specifications throughout project lifecycle

Qualifications:

Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, system engineering or equivalent degree

5-10+ years working directly with electrical mechanical systems

Must be US Persons (citizens or permanent residents)

Demonstrated experience with requirement management tool setup/ configuration

Demonstrated experience leading successful programs by creating requirements-based culture utilizing system engineering tools and best practices

Experience working within a phase gate product design process

Experience with safety hazard analysis, failure modes effects analysis and associated standards: MIL-STD-882E, MIL_STD-1629A, IEC-60812, AS13004

Familiarity with reliability analysis, planning and Testing

Experience with MBSE and software tool such as: Siemens Polarion, MATLAB, or Simulink
