Senior Tax Manager

TRC Talent Solutions is hiring a Senior Tax Counsel Manager for a large manufacturing client.

Direct hire, senior level role.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business development teams to assess tax implications of potential partnerships, joint ventures, and other business development opportunities.

Oversee U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Manage U.S. tax audits, examinations, and potential disputes.

Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on the preparation of U.S. federal and state income tax returns.

Coordinate with the finance department to assess tax-related aspects of various parts of the organization.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax laws and regulations.

Proven experience in providing tax advice in relation to complex business transactions.

Academic degree in tax law or accounting

5+ years of relevant tax experience with international exposure, ideally with a global law firm, a Big 4 accounting firm or in house at major company.
