Temp-to-Perm Commercial Counsel

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Temp-To-Perm Commercial Counsel in either Dallas or Ontario, CA

Overview: Our client is seeking a temp-to-perm commercial counsel.

Company: A large ethnic-focused grocer group.

Experience: At least three years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with an emphasis on commercial lease agreements.

Location: On-Site in either Dallas or Ontario, CA

Responsibilities Include:

Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts, including commercial lease agreements.

Providing advice and counsel on retail business issues including loss prevention, accounting, purchasing, etc.

Performing legal research as needed to support retail business operations.

Managing business & regulatory licensing team to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local law.

Required Experience:

JD from accredited law school and licensure in at least one state

At least 3-5 years of experience drafting/reviewing/negotiation commercial contract agreements with a particular emphasis on commercial lease agreements.

In-house experience (mix of law firm and in-house experience ok, but no candidate with solely law firm experience)

Preferred Experience:

Management experience is a plus.

Retail industry and/or grocery industry experience a plus.

Pay: $75/hour
