FP&A Director for Private-Equity Backed, Financial Services firm with

StevenDouglas has partnered with a private equity backed, high-growth financial services firm that is actively seeking an FP&A Director to join their team! Reporting directly to the CFO, the FP&A Director will lead and coordinate the firm's financial planning and analysis duties including preparing annual budgets, forecasting/variance analysis duties, liquidity planning, and other decision support analytics. In addition, this person will play a key role in analyzing potential firms the organization is looking to acquire and help with the due diligence process of potential transactions.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Provide decision support analytics for members of Senior Leadership and the C-Suite, as well as the Private Equity sponsor

Develop real-time business intelligence dashboards through Power BI

Develop financial models to assist Senior Leadership making informed business decisions, and make recommendations based on findings

Play an active role in the due diligence process for acquiring potential firms

Assist CFO with investor relations requests, and other ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

7+ years of FP&A experience, previous experience in financial services required

Prior experience in M&A, or previous experience with the due diligence process of acquiring firms

Advanced financial modeling skills including experience with three-statement financial models

Strong MS Excel Skills, exposure to Power BI Dashboards preferred

Strong communication skills with the ability to present to the C-Suite, and Private Equity sponsor
