Job Description:
Markets T+1 Oversight Project manager
Provide project management support for Markets T+1 Governance
Needs 8-15 years of experience
T+1 experience good to have
Be able to liase with the front office businesses, Compliance, legal, operations and technology, broadly understanding their roles/ businesses, and challenge their feedback/updates.
Schedule meetings, set clear agenda, document meeting minutes, understanding their process impact, update their slides, coordinating project activities across businesses/ functions
Prepare materials for updates to very senior members.
Ensure adherence to the governance standards
Monitoring & maintaining Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies, across businesses/functions, escalating as appropriate
Buildout and maintenance of the strategic program roadmap
Key Skills required:
Extremely detail oriented and ability to both investigate deeply into content of the material but also look across the portfolio
Ability to drive progress issue-by-issue and ensure deadlines are met
Experience managing inter-department dependencies
Basic data analysis skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understand the mechanics of a project plan to highlight knock on impacts of changes
Facilitation / Negotiation / Influence
Organized and Independent Worker who can own and track their and other's work efforts
Critical thinking
Proven prior experience/successes
Resourceful and problem solver
Self-motivation to dependably to self manage tasks and collaboratively with peers and other PMO teams on larger efforts
Key Skills Preferred:
Experience in trade lifecycle at a bank
Knowledge of operational and settlement processes
Regulatory experience
Experience in or interacting with Front Office businesses within Markets
Pay Range: $80 - $85/hr on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
