Continuous Improvement Manager

We are seeking a Bilingual (Eng/Spa) Manager to work at the HQ of one of our most trusted clients, a leading manufacturer that serves the O&G, Energy and Telecommunication industries.

Job Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for ensuring timely and cost-effective production, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by regularly reviewing budget to define P&L and to ensure monthly budget expectations are met.

Drive continuous improvement of company core values, including valuing people, ethics, safety and environmental leadership,

Remove production constraints, allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.

Develop and implement risk management strategies, as appropriate, to reduce cost and increase production efficiencies.

Actively support LEAN and 6-S initiatives, encouraging participation from all departments,

Manage the collective efforts of the Plant Safety Committee and Plant safety efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelors’ degree Bachelors OR Equivalent Experience with 8 years plus of progressive experience in a key.

Bilingual - Spanish and English.

Leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility - chemical manufacturing experience would be a plus.

Candidates with Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification will be given preferred consideration.

Possess strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.
