What you will do:
Craft firmware and solutions for our reader chips, readers and gateway products to solve real-world problems in retails, logistics and other industries
Closely collaborate with other development teams to define functionality, design architecture, and test requirements
Empower and inspire others to be successful
What you will bring:
BS in ECE or CS
7+ years of software development experience
High proficiency in C/C++, object-oriented design and any scripting language, preferably Python
Experience delivering high-quality, tested code across multiple release cycles
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in an embedded environment
Commit to a collaborative, respectful, accountable and inquisitive work style and working environment
Ideal but not necessary:
Experience developing scalable, embedded Linux solutions that tackle real-world, physical problems
Expertise with using ARM-based micro-controllers
Understanding of RF concepts and/or experience developing embedded software for wireless communication products

The typical base pay range for this role is $129,000 - $200,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of the role, job duties, requirements and relevant experience and skills. Impinj reviews market wage data and uses the midpoint of the pay range as the starting point for offers. Impinj makes offers within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonuses and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
