Job Location: Houston, Texas

General Summary:

As a Bilingual Paralegal, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional legal services to our clients. You will ensure excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, managing a large caseload effectively, and overseeing the preparation of various immigration petitions and applications. Typical cases include E-2, PERM, NIW, TN, H-1B, O-1, E-1, and L-1. We value innovation and a growth mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 cases, prioritizing deadlines effectively.

- Interview and intake clients, gathering necessary documents and information.

- Maintain organized files according to office systems and ensure confidentiality.

- Prepare immigration petitions and applications, including responses for RFEs and NOIDs.

- Communicate regularly with Virtual Assistants to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.

- Review legal documents prepared by Virtual Assistants for accuracy and completeness.

- Contact USCIS and U.S. Consulate/Embassies as needed.

- Prepare clients for consular and USCIS interviews.

- Monitor expiration dates of I-94s and age-outs.

- Meet assigned deadlines and follow ethical standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Business Immigration.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and delegate.
