Job Overview:
We are seeking a Naval Architect to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of innovative maritime solutions, contributing to the optimization of performance, safety, and efficiency of our marine vessels and structures.
Responsibilities
Utilize strong modeling skills in Rhino and SolidWorks for design tasks
Perform stability analysis (intact and damage) to ensure seaworthiness of vessels
Conduct structural design using FEA software, with a focus on composite structures
Predict resistance & propulsion for high-speed craft, employing expertise in this area
Utilize CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for analysis
Generate comprehensive technical reports and documentation to communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and design rationale to internal teams and stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience
Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience
Strong modeling skills in Rhino & SolidWorks
Experience in high-speed/small craft design, construction, and testing preferred
On-water experience preferred
