OVERVIEW
This is a full-time, in-person position who will report directly to the CFO/ COO.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The position includes, but are not limited to these primary areas of responsibility:
Serve as receptionist by greeting and assisting visitors, students, parents and faculty; answering and handling phone calls
Provide information on a variety of topics, including rules, disciplinary measures, and day-to-day operations of the school
Process student admittance and dismissals; assists in recording of attendance and arranges early releases (using attendance and visitor management software)
Maintains records of school operations, such as bus scheduling and routes, classroom assignments and school activities
Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support the school community, including participation in admission activities
Provide secretarial support in addition to reception duties
Support the business office with other duties and projects as assigned or needed
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have a High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2+ years experience working front desk reception in a school or office setting, and/or customer service roles. In addition, the candidate will:
Demonstrate a cheerful and warm disposition
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, proper phone and email etiquette
Have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Possess engaging interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport with students, parents and faculty
Have a strong desire to help others and ability to inspire respect, trust and confidence
Possess a strong working knowledge of Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Calendar
