The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a skilled, experienced Menu Systems Administrator to our team.
The Menu Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining all Computrition systems. The Menu Systems Administrator is also responsible for training units and dietitians on all Computrition functions. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US.
What you'll be doing:
Reviewing items and recipes entered by Menu Systems Dietitians into menu software to ensure consistent end products
Linking nutrition information and vendor pricing information to items
Updating prices weekly in all Computrition Systems
Training Menu Systems Dietitians as needed
Reviewing quarterly menus and cost reports from Menu Systems Dietitians
Preparing quarterly order guides for procurement including, but not limited to, updating and procuring new products, creating new price files, and formatting and sending projections to Sysco
Meeting weekly with procurement team to ensure availability and acceptability of new products and troubleshoot TRIO procurement needs.
Maintaining forms used for Menu Systems including, but not limited to, order guide forms, timelines, account checklists, milk pricing lists, meal cost forms, and Computrition login sheets
Writing and analyzing menus, meeting client preferences, contractual requirements, bid specifications, nutritional requirements, and cost guidelines
Training unit staff on Computrition functions
Overseeing the transition of new or existing accounts to Computrition
Assisting in rebid and new business proposals, writing menus and providing recommendations based on Request for Proposals
Attending meetings and assisting with additional projects as requested by Director of Menu Systems
Communicating with Director of Menu Systems frequently regarding progress of projects and potential issues
Supporting TRIO Community Meals policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
Bachelors or Master’s degree from an accredited Nutrition or Dietetics program and Registration by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Must be eligible for licensure in states in which TRIO Community Meals conducts business.
Must be ServSafe certified or obtain ServSafe certification within six (6) months of employment.
Maintains continuing education credits as mandated by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics of 75 credits every 5 years.
Demonstrated ability to lead others and provide constructive feedback and direction as needed.
Proficient computer skills.
An understanding of quantity food service, standardized recipe development, and procurement
Demonstrated ability to relate well to individuals and groups with widely varying backgrounds, perspectives, education, and skills.
The ability to conduct nutrition education in various settings
Nice-to-haves:
Minimum of 2 years of experience with managing data within a menu management system preferred. Experience with Computrition software is desired.
Minimum of 1 year of significant project management preferred.
Compensation:
The salary range is $70-80k/yr. dependent on experience.
