JOB SUMMARY

As part of the National Account Team, the National Account Manager (NAM) will play a pivotal role in driving growth and cultivating opportunities within our Top 100 National Accounts, spanning both customized and branded product portfolios. In addition to this primary focus, the NAM will also collaborate closely with R&D, Costing, and Procurement teams to facilitate the product commercialization process. This position reports directly to the Director of National Accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grow and develop existing/assigned national accounts (70% of selling time).

Manage and grow existing customer base. Existing customers include but not limited to; Top 100 National Accounts (Technomic’s 1-100).

Establishment of strategic partnerships focused on delivering long-term, sustainable growth.

Develop Strategic Account Plans for Identified Partner Accounts.

Collaborates with VP of Sales, Director of National Accounts and Director of Marketing prioritizing and executing plans against development opportunities with existing business.

Build and maintain scorecard to measure account performance.

Effectively leverage program support (trade funds) and other resources.

Work with frontline in improving selling skills/executional capabilities.

Develop new innovative selling tools and techniques for field execution.

Generate a minimum of $10+MM annually in incremental revenue and open 3+new National Account customers, through New Business, incremental menu activation(s) LTO’s, and/or incremental Culinary Innovation.

Collaborate with Marketing on segment specific data base with all identified accounts prioritized to include customer profiles, competitive situation, and volume opportunity by customer type.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field.

Foodservice background and 3+ years of National Account Experience.

Requires travel up to 50% of the time, including customer visits and trips to the Lakeland Innovation Center.

Accomplished sales and new business development professional, boasting extensive experience in consumer-driven industries with a primary focus on effective customer communication.

Demonstrated expertise in sales strategy development, forecasting, planning, budgeting, gross margin enhancement, and cultivating enduring trust and relationships with clientele.

Proven ability to foster strong, long-term customer connections.

Successful track record of leveraging consumer insights and data to formulate lucrative sales and marketing strategies.

Comfortable and adept at delivering presentations to various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and trade associations.

Exhibits strong financial acumen, encompassing a deep understanding of profit and loss (P&L), trade management, and costing to drive business and customer success.

Possesses strategic thinking capabilities, enabling effective decision-making and advocacy for sales and marketing opportunities with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.

Proficient in written and oral communication, coupled with excellent presentation skills.

Demonstrates passion and professionalism in representing Tampa Maid and its product offerings.
