Job Opportunity: Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Somerset, NJ (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Contract

Role Description: This role is for an Azure DevOps Engineer based in Somerset, NJ. The candidate will collaborate closely with development teams and IT operations to automate, integrate, and optimize the company's infrastructure. Responsibilities include automating, deploying, managing, and configuring cloud-based infrastructure using tools like Azure DevOps, Gateway, Arm templates, Azure Fabric, and PowerShell. The candidate will also design and implement deployment pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient infrastructure operation.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with infrastructure, architecture, and software development teams to implement CI/CD automation both on-premises and in the Azure cloud.

• Implement and troubleshoot continuous build and deployment pipelines.

• Drive towards DevOps methodology by developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation, and API integration.

• Coordinate with Release, Infrastructure, Middleware, Developers, Quality, and other support teams to develop automation solutions.

Technical Skills:

• Required: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Arm templates, Azure Cost estimation, Networking, Azure Functions, Load balancer, DNS, Azure Gateway, Azure services.

• Preferred: Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Kubernetes Services, Okta.

Qualifications:

• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for Azure Services and applications

• Hands-on experience with Azure Arm Template (ARM), PowerShell,

• Proficiency in Docker and Azure Kubernetes deployments.

• Strong understanding of Networking, Load balancers, DNS, and Azure services.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to keep all stakeholders updated on issue progress and updates.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Willingness to learn new technologies.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Azure Administrator Associate

• Azure DevOps Engineer Experience
