What you’ll be doing

CIBC’s Chief Security Office Chief security office focuses on Cyber Security fraud. As a Business Specialist Co-Op on this team you will use your analytical skills and documentation skills to support the team. You will work closely with Business Partners and handle operational reporting requirements, organize meetings and assist on multiple and diverse projects. Please note, we have multiple positions available under this posting and you may be considered by more than one hiring team.

You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

Duration – This is a 4 month Opportunity

How you’ll succeed

Knowledge of reporting software – Knowledge of Power Bi or Tableau is important. You will need to be familiar with Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of Visio is preferred, but not a necessity

Understanding Requirements - You will work closely with Business Partners and handle operational reporting requirements, organize meetings and assist on multiple and diverse projects.

Relationship Building – You will need to have strong communication and relationship building skills. You will need to establish relationships with Business Partners, Colleagues and Managers to ensure strong partnerships and cooperative learning spaces.

Process – You will work closely with the Process Consultants to document processes and procedures

Communication. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis, interpretation, and assessment.
