Job Description
We are now looking for a new colleague to fill the opening as an Accountant in our Singapore office. If you are passionate about accounting, improving the way we work, and making your region compliant – you are exactly what we are looking for!
You will be a key member of the team that is directly responsible for all accounting and reporting to the Finance Manager, SAP & Oceania.
You are responsible for managing the finance accounting functions namely: financial reporting, accounts payables etc. The focus is to handle month-end closing tasks, accounts payables payments etc.
You will also contribute to the development of policies and procedures and manage the outsourced financial accounting services for Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Thailand.
This position is based in Singapore.

What will you do?
Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
Day-to-day work with accounts payables.
Assist in annual budget, forecast, and planning processes.
Support the establishment and implementation of accounting policies and routines.
Work with external accounting firms on month-end closing, and group finance report submissions.
Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.
Responsible for annual external audit and review audit reports.
Work with an accounting firm for taxation matters (CIT, VAT/GST, WHT).
Monthly financial reporting at AARO (Group Finance Reporting).
Business partnering support to stakeholders e.g. sales, marketing, technical services, etc.
Opex and balance sheet analysis.
Support finance project work and ad-hoc work if required.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related
Strong accounting background with min 5 years of relevant work experience in a multinational company
Possess practical knowledge of regulations (accounting, tax).
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
Proficient in other Microsoft Office skills
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and conscientiousness.
A problem solver, and a team player.
A self-starter who can plan, organize, and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
Customer-oriented, self-motivated, and self-initiative.
