Summary:

As a Package Handler/Delivery Driver Trainee with Trans One, you'll play a key role in our fast-paced delivery operations. This position involves both warehouse work and training to become a licensed delivery driver. It requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Package Handling: Safely and efficiently move packages weighing up to 150 lbs, using proper techniques and equipment to avoid injury.

Accurate Loading: Load packages onto delivery trucks according to specific sequences to ensure safe transport and timely delivery.

Attention to Detail: Verify package information and addresses for accuracy.

Safety Focus: Adhere to strict safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Delivery Driver Training: Participate in comprehensive training to obtain the necessary license and skills to become a delivery driver. This includes learning delivery routes, handling customer interactions, and operating delivery vehicles.

Driving Responsibilities (Upon Licensure): Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages in various weather conditions. This may include navigating stairs, uneven terrain, and driving for extended periods.

Qualifications:

Physical Ability: Must be able to frequently maneuver packages up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 150 lbs.

Stamina: Possess the physical ability to walk, climb stairs, and handle packages in various weather conditions.

Driving Skills (Upon Licensure): Must be comfortable driving in different weather conditions, including rain, snow, wind, and darkness.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in package handling and verification.

Safety-Conscious: Strong commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as a delivery driver.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous warehouse or package handling experience preferred.

License: Must be willing to obtain the required driver's license for package delivery (training and assistance provided).

Benefits:
