A) Position Objective:
The position is responsible for processing applications for New Business, Renewals and Endorsement of Insurance Policies. Duties include reviewing insurance applications to ensure that all necessary information are provided and conform with the terms of the insurance policy
B) Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of new business, renewals, endorsements of accounts for issuance
2. Monitoring and managing email request and other issues from internal or external clients relative to policy issuance
3. Modify, update and process existing policies to reflect any changes
4. Review and verify data on insurance applications and policies
5. Handling procedures as per service level agreement and suggest improvements in the processes
6. Maintaining all processes and providing technical assistance to the entire work flow
7. Checking calculations of premiums due, commissions, refunds or adjustments in the Insurance policies
8. Correspond with the Insured or Agent to obtain information or inform them of the account status
9. Organize and work with office records, maintaining files for each policy holder
10. Performing other tasks, as required
C) Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate of any 4 year business course
Work-Related Experience:
o Preferably with insurance backgroundo Has experience in dealing with customers and clients
o With excellent communication skills and can relate well with people
Specific Business Knowledge:
o Computer literate and is well-versed in operating MS Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
o Has the ability to work under pressure and can do analytics
o Has high attention to details
