Schedule: M- F, regular hours.

Contract: 1yr subject for extension based on client approval.

Job Summary
Initiates and manages major tasks and deliverables in Vendor Sourcing & Selection, Contracting, Risk Management, and Financial Management to optimize procurement processes and vendor performance, and establish alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
Job Description
Sourcing
Reviews business cases (requirements, potential benefits, and options) and determines appropriate procurement routes (contract type).
Using market knowledge to inform specifications, ensures detailed pre-qualification questionnaires and RFI/RFP are prepared.
Collects and collates data to support collaboration and negotiates terms and conditions to reflect the scale of requirements and encourage good performance.
Evaluates proposals based on specification and evaluation criteria, prepares acceptance documentation, and advises on contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
Vendor Mgt
Collects vendor performance data and investigates problems.
Monitors and reports on vendor performance, customer satisfaction, adherence to security requirements and market intelligence. Validates that vendors' performance is in accordance with contract terms.
Engages proactively and collaboratively with vendors to resolve incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance.
Implements vendor management-related service improvement initiatives and programs.
Contract Mgt
Sources and collects contract performance data (such as pricing and supply chain costs), and monitors performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).'
Monitors progress against business objectives specified in the business case. Proactively manages risk and reward mechanisms in the contract.
Identifies and reports underperformance and develops opportunities for improvement. Monitors compliance with terms and conditions and takes appropriate steps to address non-compliance.
Identifies where change is required and plans for variations. Ensures, in consultation with stakeholders, that change management protocols are implemented.
Risk Mgt
Carries out risk management activities within a specific function, technical area, or project of medium complexity.
Identifies risks and vulnerabilities, assesses their impact and probability, develops mitigation strategies and reports to the IT and business.
Involves specialists and domain experts as necessary.
Financial Mgt
Monitors and maintains financial records to agreed requirements for compliance and audit.
Collates required financial data and reports for analysis and to facilitate decision-making.
Professional Experience
8 years of experience in IT Vendor Management and/or Project Management (with Vendor Interface).
Knowledge and Skills Required
1.Operational knowledge of IT systems, software development life cycles, project management life cycles, and vendor management.
2.Operational knowledge and experience, preferably gained through active involvement and implementation, of one or more of ISO 9001, CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration), PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies), ITIL (Information Technology Information Library), etc.
3.Experienced IT Vendor Manager or Project Manager dealing directly with Vendors, with experience in managing medium to large IT projects.
4.Basic knowledge of capital budgeting.
5.Knowledgeable of the BSP outsourcing regulatory requirements
