LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Company: Masagana Gas Corporation Position: Legal and Compliance Officer Location: Kamagong St., Brgy. San Antonio, Makati City

Core Responsibilities:

Facilitates the processing of application or renewal of licenses or permits.

Ensure the compliance of the company to the rules and regulations in the Philippines.

Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.

Implement and manage an effective legal compliance program.

Conducts legal research and assist in the processing of legal engagements of the company.

Prepare legal documents assigned by the Supervisor or Legal Officer.

Ensure proper documentation of the company.

Provide assistance and guidance to employees relative to Occupational Safety and health programs and initiatives.

Performs other duties and responsibilities from time to time.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in law, political science, business administration/management, or a related field.

3 – 5 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role.

Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.

Integrity and professional ethics.

Brilliant oral and written communication skills.

Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.

Experience in drafting contracts and related legal documents is an advantage

Can work with less supervision, with high initiative, and common sense in connecting tasks with consequences.

Familiar with standards and procedures in different government agencies, such as but not limited to SEC, DOLE, DOE, LGUs & BIR.
