Surveillance Operator
Description:
As a Surveillance and Tracking Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and optimization of surveillance and tracking systems to ensure the security and efficiency of operations. Your duties will include:
1. Planning and executing the installation of surveillance cameras, GPS tracking devices, and related systems in designated locations.
2. Configuring surveillance and tracking software to meet specific requirements, including monitoring parameters, recording settings, and access controls.
3. Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of surveillance and tracking systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
4. Monitoring surveillance feeds and tracking data to identify security breaches, operational inefficiencies, or unauthorized activities.
5. Collaborating with security personnel and management to develop protocols and procedures for incident response and emergency situations.
6. Providing training and technical support to staff members on the operation and maintenance of surveillance and tracking systems.
7. Evaluating new technologies and upgrades to surveillance and tracking equipment and software, making recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
8. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing surveillance and tracking activities, such as privacy laws and industry guidelines.
9. Documenting system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports for record-keeping and audit purposes.
10. Conducting periodic audits and assessments of surveillance and tracking systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
