Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny - Jersey Shore/Summit, NJ

A family of 6 is seeking a live-in housekeeper/nanny for their 4 children (aged 15-months, 3, 4.5, and 11-years) from mid-June. The role will start on the Jersey Shore (Monmouth Beach) for the Summer, where they have a beach house, then a temporary rental in Summit, NJ, while their forever home is under construction (completion should be in 18 months). There is a separate living space for the candidate in all locations. The schedule will typically be 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The role's primary focus is housekeeping, but the position requires the candidate to be comfortable tag-teaming with mom with childcare, as required.

Responsibilities

In terms of the division of responsibilities, 75% of the role will be dedicated to housekeeping, and 25% to helping mom with childcare.

Deep cleaning of homes (ranging from 4500 square feet to 12,000 square feet)

Laundry and ironing

Light and basic cooking (mostly for the children)

Unpacking grocery deliveries

Help the mom (who is stay-at -ome) with the children, during the busiest parts of the day (morning routine, school drop-off, pick-up, meal times etc.)

Qualifications

Prior live-in experience

Superlative, verifiable, and preferably long-term references

Requirements

US passport, Green Card or EAC

Clean and current driving record is a huge plus

Passport ready and willing to travel, if required

COVID and all regular childcare vaccinations

Must be professional and discreet, with a positive and happy demeanor
