Psychiatrists in Rural Texas - 2 hours west of San Antonio

Location: Edwards County, Texas; 2 hours west of San Antonio

Start Date: ASAP; temporary privileges available

End Date: Ongoing

Setting: Inpatient/Hospital

Schedule: M-F, 8a-4p + Rounding one weekend per month (in-person or telepsych)

Adult patients only; mix of voluntary and involuntary patients

Volume: 16-18 patients per day

Participation in Treatment team, Psychiatric services (Initial Evals, Follow up Visits, Discharges), Participation in doc to doc conversations with insurance companies at Utilization Review request

Requirements:

Active, unrestricted TX License

Clean, active TX DEA

Board Certified Psychiatrist

Clean Malpractice/NPDB

BLS Certification Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days

Travel and Lodging provided

Malpractice Insurance provided
