The role will be focused on sales and business development, acting as a partner/consultant to the customers.

The key responsibilities will be managing existing key accounts within the Italian market whilst generating new business opportunities in synergy with Angelo Po network.

Sales activities will include planning, preparing presentations and promoting existing and new products to prospective clients as well as attend trade fairs, conferences and networking events.

Inclination and interest in technical topics in the beverage and food industry is crucial in order to understand how equipment works to support the customers.

Being part of MFT means working in international team and in a complex organization, where is fundamental to build relationships with internal stakeholders in MFT and Angelo Po to address current and future business opportunities.

Marmon Foodservice Technologies works with huge global foodservice brands. There are also many growth opportunities within indirect channels and local chain accounts, to be developed in synergy with Angelo Po Sales team.

Main activities in Italy:

Sales and technical support to Key Account customers:

Support to the Italian distributors, checking forecasts, orders, deliveries with Customer Service

Keeping relationships with customers’ stakeholders (regular meeting once per month + calls)

Connection between MFT technical team and service companies, keeping an eye on warranty procedures

Keeping relationships with KES to check sales of equipment, listen to possible problems, manage delays, complaints

Discuss with customer possible future opportunities and developments

Synergy project with Angelo Po sales team (Water and Food equipment)

Support to Customer Services (MFT and Angelo Po) to manage forecast, orders and deliveries

Support to Angelo Po sales managers in customer meetings and demo

Contact to MFT Marketing and Technical team for all material required (spec sheets, manuals, spare parts…)

Sales and reporting

Set out commercial, financial and activity targets for the market in conjunction with the Commercial Director

Working on forecast to ensure accurate and consistent delivery

Required Qualifications, Skills/Competencies

Essential

Sales experience with a proven track record

Experience of management sales within large and complex organizations.

Working knowledge of the foodservice and/or retail industry

Customer project management skills with a proven ability to deliver on-time and on-budget.

Basic technical competence – ability to work with customers on technical issues, queries and concerns relating to products.

Strong financial acumen, as well as analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, that assist in building strong internal and external relationships.

Travel - ability to travel within Italy and possibly further afield on a less frequent basis (Sales Team meetings or exhibitions withing Europe)

Availability to support clients in a demanding and dynamic environment.

Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken). Any other European language would be a plus.
