Job Description

Cloud support personnel must have extensive expertise in the design and implementation of end-to-end application monitoring, dashboards, and alerting in support of all stakeholders.

This role shall support the following key activities:

a) Ensure that all private, public, and hybrid cloud computing services provide enhanced capabilities and leverage new services as the industry evolves.

b) Plan, design, and implement disaster recovery services for systems, backup and restoring of data, and plan for how to move workload between cloud environments.

c) Deliver a monitoring solution and develop automation for the recovery of systems after any failure.

d) Plan out methods for how to leave a cloud service with assets intact and without a break in service.

e) Develop Enterprise Playbooks (Network Connections, IP addressing, Directory Services, etc.) for Cloud Services to ensure continuity and to capture proven processes and efficiencies, to assist follow-on integration and implementation of cloud services.

f) Provide platform engineers that lead DevOps System Teams in the development and operational support of applications.

g) Ensure configuration and hardware standards are developed and adhered to as new capabilities are introduced to the enterprise.

h) Establish and implement performance monitoring criteria for various product owners.

i) Have experience with open-source products, databases, networks, virtual machines, storage, and middleware to support the design of the infrastructure sizing and scaling for the application in cloud environments.

j) Design, configure, and document cloud environments including ServiceNow, Salesforce, MS PowerApps, etc.

k) Develop and document infrastructure configurations and open change requests.

l) Ensure the design of cloud environments is scalable.

m) Troubleshoot the full-stack architecture as issues arise e.g., testing firewall changes, performance testing, etc.

n) Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Reports after an outage.

Qualifications:

*Cloud Certifications are desired.

*Must have a BS (Masters preferred)

*At least 7+yrs technical experience

*Active TS Clearance
