Role Overview
•Warmly welcoming patients in person and over the phone
•Updating patient forms and medical history accurately
•Treatment plan coordinator
•Coordinating patient care tasks such as referrals, medication calls, transferring information between offices, and making pre-op phone calls
•Verifying Insurance benefits; we utilize E-assist services, but this role would include a close working relationship with e-assist to ensure accurate insurance information is provided for claims to be submitted and patient portion is estimated
•Processing checkouts, collecting payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments
•Ensuring all treatment consent forms are signed and properly documented
•Conducting appointment confirmations
•Managing office supply orders

Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED required
•5+ years of experience (Preferred)
•Basic understanding of dental procedures and terminology
•Positive attitude with a focus on team work
•Experience with Carestack is preferred but not required
•Organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
•Ability to listen well and quickly fulfill office needs
•Good judgment and critical thinking skills
•Excellent customer service abilities and a cheerful, friendly demeanor
•Entry-level administrative skills so that you can manage patient records
•Strong ability to communicate with clients on the phone and schedule appointments
•Familiarity with common insurance forms and policies and answering related questions
•Ability to handle referrals to outside specialists
•Team mentality and the ability to accept and apply constructive criticism
