Archi Disegno Inc. is looking for a self-motivated, creative and highly organized Architect with interior design specialty who has passion for design and who thrives in progressive and dynamic work environments to join our team.

The primary role of the Technical Sales Architect is to work closely, as part of the design team, with a variety of luxury private and hospitality clients and to translate their specific project needs into customized, timeless and innovative design solutions that incorporate a selection of products from the gallery.

Responsibilities

Continually update and maintain knowledge of all product categories

Provide detailed showroom tours to first-time visitors

Meet with clients and discuss their specific requirements

Provide explanations of different levels and options of products and services available from the

gallery to clients based on which sector they are purchasing products for

Assist clients/Buyers with interior product selections and offer advice and guidance

Assist clients/buyers with custom inquiries and work with design team to satisfy clients specific

needs

Provide a luxury experience for clientele through product expertise and elevated service

Represent the brands lifestyle through communication, personal appearance (office casual,

fashion forward attire to suite design industry), and professionalism.

Participate in showroom operational & administrative functions below-included but not limited to the following:

Enter internal quotations for pricing team

Use company POS system for client quotations, order entry and payment processing

Manage client accounts

Log client foot-traffic into the showroom

Operate a multi-line phone system by answering all incoming calls to ensure quality customer care and proper flow of communication.

Travel to customer sites for field measurements if and as required

Keep Gallery organized as per Company guidelines

Report to the Sales Director and Lead Architect for direction, support, and coaching.

Effectively communicate all operational, merchandise, and client concerns to the appropriate parties.

Integrate product collections in creative design solutions and provide drawings to clients as required

Follow up on all client inquiries and sale offers and provide drawings and renderings

Other tasks as necessary and assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Architecture

Minimum three (3) years of specialization in interior design

Three (3) years project experience working in an interior design and/or an architectural firm

In-depth knowledge of electrical, Mechanical and construction methods and best practices

In depth knowledge of trends in interior design and fashion

Ability to produce executive drawings for millwork and cabinetry

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D-3D, Sketchup + Vray, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

3dsMax+Vray an asset

Revit is strongly preferred but not mandatory.

Extensive interior architectural design portfolio

Ability to produce and work with process, development, construction and presentation drawings.

Ability to assist in providing in-home consultations, floor/space planning, client presentations, colour coordination, finishes, light studies, mood boards and fabric selection.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and marketing skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & knowledge of software tools

Ability to multi-task while providing superior customer service with attention to detail in administrative duties

Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Ability to work retail hours according to the showroom schedule.

Flexibility in thought and work process and strong problem solving and math skills

Willingness to learn and continually improve skills
