Job Description

Spring Arbor Senior Living in Wilson, NC is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented part-time Maintenance Assistant for our Assisted Living team.

WHO WE WANT!

Availability to work Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. and every other weekend

Valid driver's license with safe driving record

Minimum 21 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior maintenance work experience, preferred

Previous driving experience

Patience and desire to work with seniors

Dependable

Pleasant, friendly, and helpful at all times ensuring proper and timely service

Ability to learn tasks and follow written and oral instructions

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

Clean carpets and floors

Paint as required

Move and clean furniture when necessary

Prepare rooms for incoming residents

Repair light fixtures, furniture, and minor electrical and plumbing problems as needed

Outside landscaping as required (mow, mulch, weed wack, leaf blow)

Maintain all outside lighting, ensure it is in working order

Repair and/or clean the company vehicle as needed

Clean gutters when necessary

Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots

Transport residents according to an established schedule

Assist coworkers with other duties as needed in other areas of the community to include but not limited to transportation, housekeeping, food service
