Training and Development Manager
DiGeronimo Companies is looking for an experienced Training and Development Manager to join our growing HR team in Independence OH. The T&D Manager will play a crucial role in building and overseeing all aspects of learning and development initiatives within the organization. The manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of our employees at all levels – from new hires to senior managers and executive leaders. The Training and Development Manager will collaborate with senior leaders across all businesses, and champion a culture of continuous learning as well as personal and professional growth.

A typical day looks like:
Developing and implementing a training and development strategy and programs that support the organization’s goals and objectives for employees at all levels of the organization
Collaborating with internal stakeholders/leaders to identify organization and employee training needs and develop a plan to address those needs
Leading the talent management processes including goal setting, performance management and talent reviews
Developing a manager and senior manager training and development curriculum
Working with the Training and Development Coordinator to develop training schedules and coordinate logistics of training programs. Assessing the effectiveness and impact of training initiatives through evaluation tools and performance metrics
Overseeing the learning management system (LMS) to track training across the company and work with the Training and Development Coordinator to maintain and update training records
Designing and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and seminars as needed utilizing a variety of instructional techniques
Developing and maintaining training materials and resources
Managing the internal Training and Development Coordinator and identifying and recruiting external training providers
Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Developing and implementing strategies to improve employee engagement
Keeping updated with emerging trends in training and development
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field
5+ years of experience in training and development
Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering effective training programs, utilizing a variety of training methodologies and technologies
Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data driven mindset to assess training effectiveness
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders/leaders at all levels in the organization
Familiar with learning management systems (LMS)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards
