Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with experience in using Low Code development tools (Mendix, Out Systems, Sales Force) to

join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with expertise in designing and implementing scalable web applications. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing applications to streamline manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the smooth operation of production lines.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and plant operations teams to

understand business requirements and challenges.

Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications from

concept to production.

-Architect and implement efficient and reusable front-end and back-end

components using modern web technologies.

-Develop custom tools and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators

(KPIs) and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Implement automation solutions to optimize manufacturing workflows, minimize

downtime, and improve overall efficiency.

-Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in software

design and development best practices.

-Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to

coding standards.

-Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporate them

into the development process where appropriate.

-Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, provide timely resolutions to technical

challenges.

-Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily

stand-ups, and retrospectives.

-Continuously improve development processes and tools to enhance productivity

and efficiency.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within

budget.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's

degree preferred.

-7+ years of experience in full stack web development, with a strong focus on both

front-end and back-end technologies.

-Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), HTML5,

CSS3, and proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React,

Angular).

-Solid understanding of server-side languages such as Java, Python or .NET,

along with experience in building REST APIs.

-Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL,

MongoDB).

-Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Platform.

-Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and

Kubernetes.

-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

-Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively

in a team environment.

-Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and

within budget.

-Mendix certification(s) preferred (e.g., Mendix Certified Advanced Developer).

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $134,000 - $168,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
