The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting the rebuild of mobile mining assets to restore them to an “as-new” state.
This exciting position will give you the opportunity to identify risks and opportunities to build value within the rebuild projects team.
Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PDT or MDT or relocate to a specific office (site-based). Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Responsibilities
Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
Support development of technical and project documentation
Extract and analyze information from Maximo to monitor truck performance, work orders, purchase orders, and desktop requisitions as needed
Conduct technical and economic risk analyses to support project decision making.
Support the Project Lead and Coordinators with ad-hoc requests
Support the Quality Control Specialist with QC documentation, feedback, and improvements
Build visual dashboards for asset performance of mobile equipment using PowerBI. This includes capturing appropriate data and interpreting it to make meaningful observations
Update and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports
Support the development of project schedule and progress tracking of projects in MS Excel and MS Schedule
Attend weekly project update meetings and technical meetings as needed. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring meeting minutes, action items and lessons learned are captured and distributed as appropriate
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in an engineering field (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining, etc)
Basic understanding or curiosity about project controls, scope management, and quality management would be an asset
Curiosity about project management systems and an understanding of multiple phases of project execution
Able to work collaboratively in diversified teams
Understanding of concepts of "fit for purpose"
Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Experience in PowerBI and Maximo will be considered an asset
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to work on several tasks simultaneously
Able to learn new technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently
Ability to communicate with precision in a technical environment
Able to articulate sophisticated concepts clearly and in a way a diverse audience would understand

Wage Range: $4600 - $5900 Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
