We seek a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Staff Worker to prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children in a licensed child care facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy kitchen environment while adhering to all regulatory agency guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities: * Prepare all meals and snacks following issued menus and directives.

* Keep accurate records including inventory and production records.

* Comply with all Center regulations and guidelines.

* Comply with all regulatory agency guidelines and regulations.

* Wash kitchenware and tableware.

* Keep kitchen, appliances, etc.

clean, sanitized, and in good working condition.

* Complete accurate food order requests.

* Inventory food supply, reporting food supply needs to the Associate Director.

* Properly store food and non-food supplies upon delivery.

* Keep all food items stored properly and at the appropriate temperature.

* Date all food items.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent plus Serve Safe/E-food handler certification.

Physical and Mental Demands: * Ability to lift 40 pounds.

* Ability to reach over head.

* Good personal hygiene (clean clothes, hair, hands, nails, etc.). * Ability to bend down.

* Finger dexterity.

* Ability to read and understand all documents.

* Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

* Ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
