Arcline Investment Management supports it and has a significant presence in the elevator industry, focusing on growth.

Currently, AEG is seeking experienced repair mechanics for two of our NYC locations.

Ideal candidates should have direct experience in elevator maintenance, installations, and renovations.

As a repair mechanic, you will be tasked with repairing, modernizing, and installing elevators that require skilled mechanical work and intricate control circuits.

This involves planning and executing challenging mechanical and electrical repairs and installations, including the renewal of worms and gears, wiring, connecting, and testing of controllers and other auxiliary electrical equipment, machine babbitting, thrust renewals, motor and controller removals, replacements, and modernization.

You must possess sound judgment to accurately analyze the source of failures and proceed with accuracy and dispatch to complete repairs, especially in emergency shutdowns.

Most of your work will be without immediate supervision, thus requiring you to exercise tact and diplomacy when interacting with customers, vendors, or regulatory agencies.

Qualifications To be considered for the position, you must have at least 4 years of experience as a repair mechanic with the ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and/or related technical documents.

Additionally, you should have experience conducting on-site equipment installation while following established safety, maintenance, and/or testing procedures or the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions.

You must have a valid driver's license, NYC elevator mechanic, and NYC inspector's license.

A CET certification or IBEW Local 3 Apprenticeship Program completion is strongly preferred.
