SUMMARY: Reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent, Curriculum and Instruction, in providing effective oversight and implementation of the district science curriculum across all grade levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and revise district curriculum to align with state standards and district goals for student achievement * Provide support for teachers in order to more effectively and consistently teach the district's written math curriculum and support through clear communication and vertical articulation of K-12 learning goals * Manage, research, and evaluate academic programs, materials, and resources * Support building PLC Teams for effective curriculum assessment implementation * Engage teachers in various forms of professional development, all of which are consistent with and support implementation of the district's mission, K-12 curricular program philosophies, and established district wide and school improvement initiatives, and instructional technology * Provide support for teachers in order to more effectively and consistently create and implement assessment through clear communication and vertical articulation of K-12 assessment learning goals * Performs other duties as assigned
